Pine Tree Palace sits in a grove of towering pines in Bastrop County, part of the Lost Pines — the westernmost stand of loblolly pine in the United States. We fell in love with the quiet here: birdsong in the morning, deer wandering through the property in the evening, and a sky full of stars over the hot tub at night.
